The X series immobiliser from Scorpion automotive offers advanced protection for your vehicle from many of the most advanced techniques of vehicle theft used today. These include the infamous relay attack used on keyless vehicles where the thief will pick up you keys signal from inside your house and amplify it to the car enabling entry and the vehicle to start.
It is also effective in preventing new keys from being programmed to the vehicle using programming equipment. It does this by scrambling the can bus network and not allowing the vehicle to communicate with any tools that may be plugged into the vehicle.
The system will even prevent the car from starting if the thief has actually stolen your keys and has them in the car with them.
The only way the immobiliser will allow the vehicle to start is by entering a unique pinched that consists of buttons on the steering wheel and or interior switches. once this code has been entered the vehicle will be able to start.
